TAYLOR JACKSON

Trailing Apprentice

Taylor Jackson was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He attended The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina and graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.

Growing up with three Labradors, Taylor has always had a passion for dogs. He began as a trail layer for Georgia K9, eventually working as a kennel technician at the South Carolina facility. He has been following and studying under Jeff Schettler for the past year in the Trailing Apprenticeship program with a focus on Manhunting and Scent Specific Trailing. “Knowing the K9s that we produce are out there everyday saving lives and cleaning up the streets is an awesome feeling. I am very blessed to be a part of such a great team!”
