DEPUTY MARVIN CARTER

Trainer

Marvin Carter is currently a Deputy with the Union Co. Sheriff’s Office in TN. He is currently the K9 Training Officer for the department where he teaches all disciplines for a patrol dog such as trailing, detection, apprehension, area/article search, and building search.  He currently has two operational K9’s which he uses, ROGUE (Bloodhound) and QUANNAH (GSD). Deputy Carter provides mutual aid to many departments in TN as well as KY.

With over 250 K9 deployments he hopes to pass along his experiences both good and bad to hopefully strengthen K9 teams of all types. He currently provides training to Military, Law Enforcement, and Civilian SAR in the areas of trailing and detection.
